MBTI (INFJ-T | Advocates)

In today’s society, personality indicators such as psychological assessments or horoscopes are often used as tools to gain insight into one’s personality. While these can provide useful statistics and descriptions of personality traits, we should not let them completely shape our perceptions of ourselves. Instead, we should use these indicators to reflect on our true selves and tailor our self-improvement.

One personality type that is often talked about is INFJ-T, which stands for Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling, Judging, and Turbulent. This personality type is known for its unique characteristics that set them apart from others. They are individuals who aren’t content to coast through life and value integrity, conscientiousness, altruism, authenticity, justice, and ethics. They believe that appearances can be misleading and are always looking for a win-win situation.

Despite their many strengths, INFJ-Ts are prone to burnout and can be sensitive to criticism, especially when their values are being challenged. They tend to avoid burdening others with their issues and are hesitant to ask for help. They also have a strong sense of idealism and spend time thinking about creative solutions to problems. While they have a creative side, they also bristle when they are forced to adhere to rigid, repetitive protocols without regard to their individual needs or strengths. Therefore, they tend to seek out more flexible and autonomous positions or start their own businesses.

“Il faut être l’homme de la pluie et l’enfant du beau temps.”

― René Char, Le Marteau sans maître

Life is long enough to take it easy but short enough to over-worry. Let us embrace our unique selves and strive for a fulfilling life.
